Pixar Animation Studios Bought by Walt Disney in the year 2006 and it was bought for 7.4 billion, it is best known for its high quality animation and it is also known for the eight Oscars that were rewarded to the company.
Pixar is responsible for the releases of Toy Story 1&2, Finding Nemo, Cars, Monsters Inc., The incredibles and Ratatouille, which proved that their work is picture perfect by the success of all the movies that they put their hands on .
Walt Disney began featuring their animation in the early 1934 they selected specific animators so they could work on the short subject division that not a while back was the entire Walt Disney productions. that lead to a change in the generation of the human being when the first animated feature was born ofcourse with the help of technicolor and that was “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and undoubtedly it became a success when it was released in theaters in the year 1938, it was an instant classic since the release.
Following the success off Snow White Walt Disney released Cinderella and Dumbo which both also happen to be classics in this day and age, followed by the release of Sleeping Beauty and Fantasia, which covered the costs of their production but didnt gain any profit until after the release. In 1989 Walt Disney decided to go on producing a new generation of cartoons were they first released The Little Mermaid which was a huge success and also an instant classic followed by a string of success which included Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King. By the year 1999 Walt Disney had over 2400 employees and has two satellite studios which were located in Orlando and Paris.
Following the expansion Walt Disney suffered from loss in its profits because they couldnt keep up with the staff so they decreased the staff size to 600, also Walt Disney was not making it to the top of the box office charts because they were still using the normal animation techinque, whereas Pixar and Dream Works were using computer animated cartoons which made Walt Disney seem very old at that time. Walt Disney bought Pixar not long after which proved to gain profits for the Walt Disney corporation.

Touchstone was another label for Disney so it could produce more mature films. the production company was associated in the year 1984 and was a source of income for Disney in between 1980’s and 1990’s, the first R-rated movie for disney came out in the year 1986 and was called “Down and Out of Beverly Hills”which undoubteblt for Disney the movie was a huge hit.
